The Page Came Up Naked

Launched thelaststreetkid.com tonight and hit refresh and the whole thing came up naked. No color. No fonts. My words in Times New Roman, crammed against the left side of the screen like a drunk on a wall. The page couldn't find its own clothes. One file in the wrong spot.

Then the pictures wouldn't load. The code was calling for a file by name and the file was right there, one letter off. The server doesn't meet you halfway. Exact or nothing.

I laughed. That's the most honest version of this site there is. Before the design, it's just a guy from 25th Street typing the truth into a box.
